BOOK ONE: FIRE & FLOOD

Gods, monsters, and magic school. Class will never be the same.

I thought that I was just a normal girl. Well, except for dealing with asthma and painful backaches. But then my family was lost in a tragic accident and the next thing I know Hermes is knocking at my door. Yeah, that Hermes - the Greek god.

He tells me I'm special and shows me how to partially shift to release the wings in my back. Suddenly the pain that's been there my whole life is gone...and I can fly!

Well sort of. I've got a lot to learn. So it's off to Mount Olympus Academy where my teachers are gods and my classmates are vampires, werewolves, and witches.

There's also...Val. He's a vampire, and I can't stop thinking about him even though interspecies dating is taboo. I think he might like me too...even though I did accidentally set him on fire the first time we met. Awkward!

It's not all fun and games, though. MOA has a darker side and the more time I spend here, the more secrets I uncover. And the worst secret of all just might be about me.

Fire & Flood is a young adult magic academy fantasy novel with non-stop action. It contains a spunky heroine, one best friend with the gift of sight...to see tomorrow's lunch menu, a mean-girl vampire roommate with a carnivorous plant, and a meet-cute with her roommate's hot twin brother that almost kills them both.

BOOK TWO: PILLAGE & PLAGUE

Turns out-I'm a stone-cold killer. And I'm not sure I like it.

Last school term I figured out I was a dragon shifter. And then I killed a bunch of monsters. It was to save my friends...but also I kinda liked it. Or my dragon did.

Now, it's summer term at Mount Olympus Academy. Besides classes I also need to: find my mom, rescue my best friend, and help figure out a cure for the shifter plague that's sweeping across campus.

Talk about a heavy course load!

My personal life isn't any easier. Even though my vampire crush, Val, brought his fiancee back to school with him - I'm the one he's kissing.

Val isn't my only boy problem. There's also Nico, a one-eyed werewolf who's been tortured by the monsters and has a major alpha thing going on.

On top of that we have a new professor. With her searing, charismatic speeches, Maddox Tralano has MOA students ready to follow her into battle.

The drumbeat of war is growing louder, soon everyone will be forced to fight for their lives. Because when gods and monsters battle it out - there is no middle ground.

Book Three: Wither & Wound

I've turned traitor and spy. By the end of this, someone big is gonna die.

I hope it's not me.

My sister, Mavis, is going to be put on trial. Mr. Zee is certain to find her guilty of helping the monsters in their war against the gods. And then he'll kill her.

I can't let that happen.

So when I find out about a sword capable of wounding him, I set out to the collect the pieces.

With the sword in hand, I'll convince him to step down and free Mavis. Or get killed trying.

My time at Mount Olympus Academy is coming to an end. The only question is, whether I'll exit the gates dead or alive.

BOOK FOUR: Struggle & Strife

Apparently when you cause the apocalypse, it’s your job to fix it.

Turns out that killing a god kind of wreaks havoc on the world. Like, our world.

So yeah, that’s my bad.

But I’m trying to fix it.

All of Zeus’ powers went into ten different teenagers, and they’ve got to compete to see who gets to take his place and put everything— and everyone— back into their places. It’s my job to hunt down and mentor the last contestant, a tougher-than-lacquered-nails beauty queen from Wisconsin.

Brandee Jean picked up Zeus’ super strength after getting struck by lightning, which should be helpful to her in the competition. But the others got powers, too. Flying. Teleportation. Virility. Wisdom.

Now she’ll have to attend Amazon Academy, where she'll take classes and compete in different tasks. At the end of it - winner takes all. The losers give up their powers, while the winner becomes a god and an official Amazon Princess.

Now that's a crown worth competing for.

BOOK FIVE: battle & brawl

There are worse things than a bad hair day...like having a crown taken right off your perfectly styled head.

I'm Brandee Jean, and I managed to win the biggest crown of all. I was an Amazon Princess and Queen of the Gods.

For like, two seconds.

Now, though, Zeus is back from the dead and everything I went through to win was for nothing.

Well...almost nothing. I got a hot British boyfriend who is half fae out of it, even if he does correct my grammar, like, constantly. He's not a big fan of my Mama, either. But I don't know if that's because she's kind of trashy, or it's because she's a zombie.

It's nice to have Mama cheering me on again, even if she is undead. Cause everywhere I turn there's a fight. I've got to get my crown back by competing against my boyfriend and my best friend, convince Mama her Hades hookup is just another in a long string of bad boyfriends, and stop the humans and paranormals from destroying each other.

But first...a hot oil treatment for my hair. Cause there's no way I'm saving the world with split ends.

BOOK SIX: catch & conquer

Sometimes you need the bad guys to defeat the baddest guys.

I'm Mavis, Underworld Reformatory pencil-pusher, cat-shifter and big-sister to the only dragon shifter in the world.

I've never been much of a rule follower, but when my sister, Edie, disappears while on a secret mission, I'm willing to break them all to get her back. Even if that means letting loose the same supernatural prisoners I'm supposed to help keep behind bars.

I pick the most wily, tough, and just plain crazy prisoners to join my team. And now me and these yahoos gotta learn to work together or else I'm never gonna see my sister again.

Pixie! Incubus! And a bear shifter! Oh my! Find out what happens when a Supernatural Academy meets Suicide Squad!

BOOK SEVEN: defy & defend

Sometimes thinking outside the box is a bad idea...  especially if it's Pandora's Box.

I'm Mavis, cat-shifter and squad leader of the baddest group of paranormal prisoners in the worlds - all of them. I have to make that distinction now that portals have been opened to other worlds, places like Tartarus, where creatures that can kill gods live. My sister is trapped there, along with her vampire boyfriend. I've got to get them out, and close the portals before more monsters cross over.

With the help of my team - a shy bear shifter, a sugar-addicted fae-vamp hybrid, and a sexaholic incubus - we'll have to complete three tasks for the King of the Faeries to convince him to close the box... or leave my sister to burn in hell forever.
